July 28—A car-vehicle accident at noon Friday resulted in more than $7,500 in damage, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

David Graber, 52, Fredonia, N.D., was driving a 2015 Dodge south on 4th Avenue Northeast, approaching the intersection with 3rd Street Northeast.

Amanda Mosbrucker, 38, Fargo, was stopped in a 2014 Ford car at a stop sign on 3rd Street Northeast at the intersection with 4th Avenue Northeast.

Police said Mosbrucker drove into the intersection after stopping, causing Graber to strike the car Mosbrucker was driving. Mosbrucker said she didn’t see Graber as there was a pickup truck and trailer parked just to the north of the intersection that obstructed her view.

Graber and Mosbrucker wore seat belts and there were no injuries.

Damage was estimated at $2,500 for the Dodge and $5,000 for the Ford.

No citations were issued.
