July 28—Hilton Head Island FedEx truck driver Eddie Days is heading to the National Truck Driving Championship in St. Louis next month.

Days has been with FedEx for over 20 years and has mentored other motorists to stay safe, by staying alert and avoiding distractions.

The NTDC is considered one of the industry’s largest and most effective safety programs, which advises tens of thousands of drivers to operate accident-free for the right to compete, according to its website.

Days qualified for the championships after winning the South Carolina Step Van title earlier this year.
