July 28—”You wanna die, boy,” a male suspect on an all terrain vehicle allegedly said as he pointed a gun at a 20-year-old man before firing shots in the air, according to an Horry County police report.

The victim told police that about 12:20 a.m. Sunday on Stoneybrook Drive in Conway, off Brown Drive near U.S. 501, he saw a young woman running by a house while the suspect was across the street on an ATV, police said.

The victim said he didn’t say anything to the suspect; however, the suspect pointed a shiny, chrome-colored pistol at the victim and asked him if he wanted to die, according to the report.

The victim told Horry County police the suspect then drove off and fired about four to five shots in the air.

People near the area told police they also heard gunshots, and authorities said they did find four spent bullet shell casings in the roadway of Stoneybrook Drive.

Police said they searched the area for the suspect, but were unable to find him.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
