July 28—All available North Dakota Highway Patrol personnel in southwest North Dakota will be on patrol to increase safety and visibility during the annual Sturgis rally in South Dakota, according to the NDHP. The high-visibility traffic saturation began Monday and will run through Aug. 12.

Troopers will be work overtime hours during this time period in an attempt to reduce traffic fatalities, according to the NDHP. All traffic laws will be strictly enforced.
