July 28—Police have located four teenage girls who escaped from Magnolia Academy earlier this month, but one is still on the run.
“Out of the five runaway/escapees from Magnolia Academy on July 4…four have been safely returned,” Columbia Police Detective Michael Richmond said in an email. “The lone absconder is Julie White.”
White, 17, and the other girls were believed to have left the school about 10:30 p.m. on July 4, according to previous reports.
A press release stated that all five girls were seen getting into a black Nissan Altima with temporary tags.
White is believed to be in the Nashville/Davidson County area, according to previous reports.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Columbia Police Department by calling (931) 388-2727 or (931) 381-4900, or by emailing [email protected]
