July 28—STOCKTON — Police have arrested a woman suspected in a shooting that left one man dead and a man and a woman injured.

The shooting occurred at about 10:30 a.m. July 18 at South Hunter and East Sonora streets and left Kwasi Mahan, 22, dead.

Police arrested Norma Paisano, according to Officer Joe Silva, a department spokesman.

Paisano, 20, is a parolee-at-large and known gang member, Silva said, and was tracked down by homicide detectives.

A 22-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman had also been struck by gunfire that morning, but both had been treated and released from local hospitals, Silva said.

The shooter had worn all black and had fled the scene in a black sedan.

Paisano was arrested without incident Monday in the 200 block of North San Joaquin Street by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, parole team, gang detectives and Delta Regional Auto Theft Task Force.
