July 28—BUHL — The mother of a toddler who was hit by a car Saturday has taken to Facebook to help find the person who she says drove off after injuring her son.

Arian Schnur posted a picture of the bruises on her son’s face on Facebook Sunday, one day after he was hit by a car on Poplar Street in Buhl.

The post, which details the car that ran into him before driving off, has been widely shared on social media in the Magic Valley. The posts encourage everyone to share the photos until the woman is caught.

Buhl Police Department responded Saturday to the 1600 block of Poplar Street for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian hit-and-run. Police say the suspect was driving a dark-colored car, possibly a Pontiac Grant Am or Grand Prix, and is believed to be a woman in her 50s with curly gray hair and glasses.

The boy was taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center where he was treated and released.
