July 28—Route 115 will be a two-lane, one way road Sunday morning in advance of Sunday’s NASCAR race at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Monroe County.

State police said starting about 8 a.m. all traffic on Route 115 below I-80 will flow south until all traffic has entered the racing grounds for the Windows 10 400 race. Following the race, troopers plan to reverse the flow of traffic and Route 115 will be northbound only to I-80 until the raceway parking lot is cleared. State police plan to make the conversion during the final 25 laps of the race.

After the race troopers will also close the I-80 east offramp at the Blakeslee exit.

State police believe the July 31 to Aug. 2 weekend will bring large amounts of race fans into the area and are advising drivers to expect larger traffic volume on I-80 and routes 115, 209, 940 and 903.
