July 28—The owners of the Patriot Steakhouse have closed their second location in little more than a year, according to the company’s website.

The original Patriot Steakhouse & Tavern at 1525 Genntown Drive in Lebanon, founded in 2010, was closed this month.

“We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has joined us over the years here… It has been our pleasure to serve our community and to get to know so many people who live here. …Unfortunately, we have reached a point where it has become impossible to continue under our current circumstances. We did all that we could think of to avoid this decision but there comes a time when certain decisions are unavoidable,” the owners said on their website.

In June 2014, the owners closed their location at 2098 S. Alex Road, West Carrollton, which opened in October 2013, co-owner Greg Carter said.

“That location didn’t catch on at a pace that allowed us to keep it running,” Carter said of the West Carrollton restaurant just west of the I-75/Ohio 725 interchange. The space previously housed the Grub Steak restaurant.
