July 28—It’s going to be another day of scattered rain, forecasters say.

There’s a slight chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms this morning, but forecasters say most of the wet weather will come this afternoon.

The rain chance hits about 70 percent after lunchtime and continues until this tonight when it drops to about 30 percent, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

High temperatures should be in near 89 degrees, with a low tonight near 75 degrees, the weather service said.

Forecasters are expecting the wet weather to diminish overnight.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 91 degrees and a 50 percent chance of rain.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 91 degrees and a 60 percent chance of rain.
