>> The three planes carrying the remains of 36 Marines killed at the Battle of Tarawa in World War II were Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft. A Page B1 story Monday misidentified them as Air Force C-130 Herculeses.

>> The J-Bay Open surf contest this month was held in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. A Page F1 story Sunday said it was Johannesburg.

>> The High Technology Development Corp. has hired Thelma Alane as its innovation program manager, not chief operating officer as reported in the “On the Move” column on Page B6 Saturday.
