STURBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say rescuers have pulled a missing Massachusetts man’s body from a Sturbridge lake.

Crews recovered the body of 73-year-old Paul Lamarine around 4:10 p.m. Monday from Big Alum Lake at about 40 to 45 feet from the shore.

Police say his wife called authorities at about 8:30 a.m. to report the Sturbridge man missing. Officers responded and conducted searches in and around the home.

The state chief medical examiner’s office is working to determine the cause and manner of his death.

Authorities are investigating, but say the death does not appear suspicious.
