CENTREVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Centreville man in a double slaying in Bibb County.

Police stopped a car that belonged to one of the victims in Tuscaloosa after a chase on Monday night. Two people were inside.

One of the occupants was released without charges.

But state police say 21-year-old Manley Deontay Bray is being held in the killings of 19-year-old Tevin Rutledge of Brent and 27-year-old Lequan Dalon Clayton of Centreville.

Rutledge was found with a fatal gunshot wound near a residential area, and Clayton was found dead hours later on a road about 2 miles away. Authorities say both men were murdered.

The chase that ended in Bray’s arrest exceeded 100 mph before ending in an apartment complex.
