PITTSBURGH (AP) - A western Pennsylvania woman is charged with assaulting her boyfriend and then kicking, biting and punching Pittsburgh police officers over the weekend.

Authorities said 20-year-old Amber Kabina of Salisbury was arrested Sunday and charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, disarming a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and other counts.

Witnesses said she assaulted her boyfriend, who told authorities that she thought he had been flirting with another woman at a concert. Police said that when they tried to arrest her, she kicked an officer in the chest with both feet, bit an officer, tried to get an officer’s stun gun and tried to head-butt an officer.

A listed number for Kabina couldn’t be found Tuesday; court documents don’t list an attorney who could respond to the charges.
