GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - Montana Highway Patrol officials say a 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash near Geyser.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (https://gftrib.com/1D7Elg3 ) that a Chevy truck headed east on Highway 87 collided head-on with a Toyota RAV4 that was headed east when the truck tried to pass a slow moving tractor around 2:50 p.m. Monday.

Trooper Jason Fredenberg says the crash occurred near mile marker 27 between Geyser and Stanford and that speed appears to be a factor.

Along with the casualty, an infant in the Toyota and the 21-year-old driver of the truck were transported to the hospital with injuries.

Fredenberg says the female driver was wearing her seat belt but that the male driver was not.
