CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) - A three-vehicle collision in Clearfield has left one man dead and several others injured.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/1LRnsaQ ) that Clearfield Police Lt. Kelly Bennett says the names of the victims in Tuesday’s crash haven’t been released.

The accident began when an 18-year-old driver of a Ford truck attempted a left turn onto SR-193 and then hit the back of a Dodge Dakota. The Dakota then spun out of control into oncoming traffic, striking a sedan. The 37-year-old driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the three occupants inside the vehicle have been hospitalized with injuries.

A witness to the crash says a fire marshal had been driving by at the time of the accident and was able to respond quickly.
