FREEPORT, Texas (AP) - The Coast Guard says the bodies of a father and his adult son have been found in the Brazos (BRAZ’-uhs) River after both disappeared while fishing near Freeport.

Authorities do not suspect foul play in the deaths of 52-year-old Phillip Orr and 28-year-old Brandon Orr.

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department search crews located the bodies Wednesday morning. The area is about a mile from where the men’s boat was discovered Tuesday with no one on board and doing circles on the river.

Petty Officer 1st Class Andrew Kendrick says authorities found two cellphones on the boat.

The Coast Guard did not immediately provide hometowns for the two men.
