WASHINGTON (AP) - Several high-profile government officials are visiting an elementary school in Washington to support summer reading and physical activity.

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert A. McDonald and Mayor Muriel Bowser will be visiting Seaton Elementary on Wednesday. The visit is part of a “Let’s Read! Let’s Move!” event, an initiative to increase awareness about the importance of summer learning and physical activity.

About 120 children are expected at the event, where the book “The Incredible Book Eating Boy” will be read. After the reading, the children will take part in a firefighter fitness camp which includes a hose pull and dummy drag. Goalie Bill Hamid of D.C. United will lead a soccer clinic.
