SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Wofford career sacks leader Anthony Jones is among three former standouts named to the school’s athletic hall of fame.

Also selected were former baseball star Brandon Waring and ex-soccer star Nick Schuermann. The three will be enshrined in ceremonies on Sept. 26.

Jones set the Wofford career marks with 30.5 sacks and 66 tackles for loss from 1999-2002.

Waring led Wofford to the Southern Conference title and the NCAA tournament in 2007. He was drafted that year by Cincinnati and spent eight years as a pro. Waring, a third baseman, holds several single-season school records, including 27 homers, 73 runs scored and 89 hits.

Schuermann was a defender for Wofford and helped the team win the Southern Conference regular season and tournament titles in 2009.
