HOUSTON (AP) - Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout was out of the lineup for a second straight game on Wednesday against the Houston Astros with an injured left wrist.

The All-Star center fielder was hurt trying to make a diving catch in the fourth inning on Sunday in a 13-7 victory over Texas. He remained in the game and later hit a grand slam.

But his wrist was bothering him on Tuesday and he sat out and had an MRI, which revealed no structural damage.

He is listed as day to day.

Trout leads the majors with 31 homers and is hitting .315 with 64 RBIs.

David DeJesus, who was traded from the Rays on Tuesday, was scheduled to start in his place.
