HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police say a man has been accused of starting an apartment complex blaze that left three firefighters slightly hurt.

Houston City Jail records show 18-year-old Danny Isidoro (ee-sih-DOHR’-oh) was being held Wednesday on a charge of reckless arson.

Authorities did not immediately say what started Tuesday afternoon’s fire that damaged or destroyed dozens of units at a complex in northeast Houston.

Three firefighters were transported to a hospital to be treated for heat exhaustion. The fire was extinguished after about two hours.

Jail records do not list bond or an attorney to speak for Isidoro, who was booked early Wednesday. Investigators did not immediately say whether the teen lives at the fire-damaged complex.
