NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Police have arrested a North Charleston man charged in a fatal shooting after a SWAT team responded to a home in the city.

Police tell local media outlets that they arrested 32-year-old Jermaine Eric Young on Tuesday.

Young is charged with murder and using a gun in a violent crime in the July 17 shooting death of the 30-year-old Tyric Grant at an apartment in the city.

Young was arrested as he left the building.

It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
