PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say the death of a 77-year-old woman whose body was found in a burning home in Pueblo is suspicious.

Police Sgt. Eric Gonzales tells The Pueblo Chieftain (https://goo.gl/gi0lUa ) that emergency crews found the woman as they extinguished a small fire at the home Wednesday morning. Soon after the fire was put out, the scene became a police investigation.

Gonzales did not indicate why the circumstances have been ruled suspicious, only saying “when (crews) got in there, the scene just didn’t look right.”

Police have not released the victim’s name.
