NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of an 18-year-old St. Augustine High School student.

New Orleans police say in a news release that 25-year-old Donovan Williams was booked Friday at the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office. His arrest came a few hours after 22-yeatr-old Trever Mitchell surrendered at a police station.

Police say the student, Jawara Givens, was found shot Tuesday inside a car in eastern New Orleans. Police say authorities transported Givens to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead Wednesday.

Sgt. Nicholas Gernon, commander of the police department’s Homicide Unit, says the shooting appeared to be related to an “ongoing dispute” between Givens and both men.
