CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Cedar Rapids police are investigating separate incidents that left one person with stab wounds and another person shot.
Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports (https://bit.ly/1HDPZB9 ) that the calls came in late Friday night.
Police say one person was stabbed in the Lindale Mall parking lot around 10 p.m. That person was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to Mt. Vernon Road and 14th Street for a report of a shooting. That victim also was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say no arrests have been made in either case.
