FRISCO, Colo. (AP) - Hospital officials have released the names of a flight paramedic and flight nurse who were aboard a medical helicopter that crashed in Frisco, killing the pilot.

The Summit Daily News reports (https://goo.gl/1UKs0H ) 45-year-old paramedic Dave Repsher, of Silverthorne, is in critical condition, and 32-year-old flight nurse Matt Bowe, of Frisco, is in fair condition. Both are expected to survive.

The fiery crash happened Friday afternoon next to Frisco’s St. Anthony Summit Medical Center. The helicopter crashed in a parking lot shortly after taking off, hitting three vehicles and sparking a large fire.

The pilot, 64-year-old Patrick Mahany, of Silverthorne, was killed.

Authorities say the helicopter was not responding to a medical emergency and no patients were aboard.

Lake Dillon Fire battalion chief Shawn Sawyer said leaking fuel made it difficult to extinguish the fire.
