BISBEE, Ariz. (AP) - Officials in Bisbee are fulfilling a promise they made to discuss concerns with residents after the investigation into a fatal officer-involved shooting concluded.

The Sierra Vista Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1CkUPBj) the shooting was declared to be justified in a notice released in May by Chief Criminal Deputy Attorney Doyle Johnstun. Before the determination was made, city officials had agreed to hold a meeting so residents could voice any questions about the incident or the investigation.

Council members Serena Sullivan and Eugene Conners organized the event, which will also have members of law enforcement in attendance.

The July 12 town hall will run from 2 to 4 p.m. in Bisbee.
