HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police are investigating after a man working as a security guard at a manufacturing facility was found fatally shot in the parking lot.

Poilce say 55-year-old Wesley Keene was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday night.

Police say Keene had been contracted by the company that produces piping and pressure vessel components to work as a security guard at their facility while the business was closed over the holiday weekend.

Keene was found by a friend who went to check on him after receiving an inaudible voice message.

Police say there’s no known motive or suspects at this time.
