WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - Coal executive Robert Murray, state Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin and Attorney General Patrick Morrisey will speak at an Ohio County Republican event.

The Ohio County Republican Executive Committee’s Lincoln Day Dinner will be July 22 at Wheeling Country Club.

Murray runs Murray Energy, with mines in the Northern Appalachian, Illinois and Uintah basins.

Murray has criticized President Barack Obama and his environmental policies that affect the coal industry. Murray has heavily supported Republicans. His company gave $250,000 to a political committee that supported West Virginia Republican legislative candidates in the 2014 election.

Benjamin won his Supreme Court seat in 2004. He faces a 2016 re-election challenge from Morgantown resident Beth Walker, who is running as a conservative.

Morrisey is running for a second term as attorney general next year.
