EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - Two men facing capital murder charges in the accidental shooting of an El Dorado boy are due in court.

The 20 and 24 year old men from El Dorado were being held without bond in the Union County jail Monday and are scheduled for a court appearance later in the day. Both face charges including murder, aggravated assault and engaging in gang activities.

El Dorado Police Capt. Kevin Holt says the men surrendered late last week following the Thursday shooting. He says 11-year-old boy was in his grandmother’s front yard when he was struck by a single stray bullet.

The boy’s name hasn’t been released.

Online jail records didn’t list attorneys for either suspect.
