GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The state’s congressional delegation says the University of North Dakota’s Rural Health Center has been awarded a $2.1 million grant.

These funds are authorized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will be used to support the school’s Rural Assistance Center, which an online portal that provides rural communities with access to programs, funding and research.

The school’s rural health center is designated by federal authorities as one of six national rural health research centers.
