VALENCIA, Spain (AP) - Valencia says it has signed Belgian midfielder Zakari Bakkali from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

The 19-year-old Bakkali has passed his standard medical exam with the Spanish club.

He is Valencia’s second signing this offseason after it secured the transfer of promising striker Santi Mina from Celta Vigo over the weekend.

Valencia will play in the Champions League next season, starting in the final qualifying round, after finishing the Spanish league in fourth place.
