RACINE, Wis. (AP) - A woman is accused of driving drunk at speeds of nearly 100 miles per hour with a toddler in the car in Racine County.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/1fh3TwE ) Wisconsin State Patrol troopers arrested the 36-year-old Pleasant Prairie woman at about 2:35 a.m. Sunday on southbound Interstate 94.

According to a release from the department, after stopping the woman for driving 97 mph in a 70 mph zone, a trooper smelled alcohol.

She was arrested on suspicion of second-offense driving while intoxicated with a passenger under age 16. She also is accused of operating with a revoked license, speeding and not having the child safely restrained.

The 18-month child was turned over to a sober family member.
