WILLISTON, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont State Police say there was one fatality on roadways during the July Fourth holiday weekend, and 21 total fatalities in the state this year so far.

Police said they responded to three impaired-related crashes, 34 total crashes, 12 drunken driving arrests, 323 speeding tickets and assisted over 52 drivers.
