HARRISON, Mich. (AP) - A sheriff’s deputy in Clare County has resigned after she was arrested on accusations of driving while intoxicated.

Clare County Sheriff John Wilson says Natasha Seymour was arrested around 3 a.m. June 28 after she crashed her car into a ditch near Farwell. Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski says Seymour resigned the next day at an internal affairs hearing.

The sheriff’s department says Seymour’s attorney on Monday waived a court arraignment scheduled for Tuesday.
