Paula Deen has found herself in the middle of another race controversy after she tweeted, then deleted, an “I Love Lucy” parody photo showing her son in brownface.

A photo tweeted from Ms. Deen’s account showed the embattled celebrity chef posing as Lucille Ball and her son, Bobby Deen, posing as Cuban-born actor Desi Arnaz. The photo was quickly deleted but screencapped by Buzzfeed, Mediaite reported.

“Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do! #TransformationTuesday @BobbyDeen,” the post read.

Ms. Deen faced an intense public backlash in 2013 after she was fired from the Food Network for admitting to using the N-word “a very long time” ago. She has since launched a subscription-based online channel and has a show on a channel called EVINE Live, once also known as ShopNBC.
