YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - The Yakima County prosecutor will review the investigation of a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a spray rig attached to a tractor to see if criminal charges are warranted.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (https://bit.ly/1KJqEGE ) that 73-year-old Patrick Carlson died Friday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center after his motorcycle ran into a spray rig at about 11:15 p.m.

Washington State Patrol says the spray rig had no lights, but the tractor had a taillight. State law requires towed farm equipment to have taillights.

State Patrol Sgt. Matt Couchman says if the prosecutor does not file criminal charges, State Patrol could cite the driver for the traffic violation.
