BARRINGTON, R.I. (AP) - The search for a Rhode Island triathlete who was reported missing last week during a boating trip is set to continue.

New England Search and Rescue spokesman Christopher Monteiro tells The Providence Journal (https://bit.ly/1RhAfIu ) a group will expand the search area Tuesday to include Conimicut Point in Warwick.

Monteiro says a canine team from Rhode Island Canine Search will be used again Tuesday, and the nonprofit organization plans to launch a helicopter.

Officials say Stas Antons, of Barrington, went missing on Thursday afternoon while he was on a boating trip at Barrington Beach.

They believe he went swimming after anchoring his boat several hundred yards off the beach.

Coast Guard crews and local firefighters spent Thursday and Friday looking for him but had called off the search Friday night.
