LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Another bicyclist has died as a result of a collision with a vehicle in Lake Havasu City.

The Today’s News-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1ClbNiy ) that 63-year-old Larry Smith died Sunday.

Smith and his wife, 60-year-old Deborah Robison, were struck while bicycling Wednesday. Robison was pronounced dead at the scene and Smith was flown to a Las Vegas hospital.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a Lincoln passenger car driven by 31-year-old Erica Etten collided with the bicyclists as they headed south on State Route 95.

DPS says driver impairment doesn’t appear to be a factor but the accident remains under investigation.

Smith and Robinson had won several cycling championships in Havasu and throughout the country. They are the owners of AZBuilt Sports, a shop that sells and rents bikes.
