HONOLULU (AP) - FBI agents and the U.S. Marshal Service are looking for a fugitive on Oahu who they say has close ties to domestic extremists.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports (https://bit.ly/1IIK3pA ) that officials are looking for Jennifer Ann McTigue, who was formerly Jennifer Lowe. She was last seen near Kahala Mall June 30.

McTigue was out on bond waiting for a federal trial scheduled to start July 20. She is accused of being involved in a $3 million plot to defraud new homeowners, title companies and banks in a complex real estate scheme.

FBI spokesman Tom Simon says officials believe she has close ties with domestic extremists the Sovereign Citizens Movement, who believe the government is unjust, that they are not bound by U.S. law and banks are a sham.
