FRISCO, Colo. (AP) - A Breckenridge man who broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulted three girls has been sentenced to 48 years in prison.

The Summit County District Attorney’s Office says 37-year-old Sky Wodraska was sentenced Wednesday on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree kidnapping and third-degree assault.

Prosecutors say Wodraska broke into the condominium through the cellar March 7 and attacked one girl and two sisters while their mother was at work.

The Summit Daily reports (https://goo.gl/f0hOHz) he attacked the woman’s 14-year-old daughter with a knife, leading to a near-fatal wound near her trachea and two other lacerations. He also bound and gagged her 9-year-old daughter with duct tape. Another 14-year-old girl escaped during the ensuing struggle.

Wodraska previously was accused of harassing the girls and their family.
