ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A 22-year-old central Florida man wanted on a first-degree murder charge has been found dead in Tallahassee.

Tallahassee police told investigators in Ormond Beach Tuesday that they’d found Garrett Schroeder in a car, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Schroeder was a suspect in the death of a man in Ormond Beach.

On Friday, the girlfriend of Garrett Schroeder’s father Chris found a body inside his house. She told police she had not seen her boyfriend for several days. An autopsy was performed Monday, but authorities haven’t released the victim’s identity.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1HNsIuS ) reports the father and son had a rocky relationship, with the elder Schroeder obtaining an injunction for protection last year. The documents described Garrett Schroeder’s increasing “anger and odd behavior.”
