CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Much of central and western Wyoming is under a flash flood watch.

The National Weather Service says the flash flood watch is in effect from noon Wednesday through the evening for an area that includes Casper, Rock Springs, Riverton, Worland, Lander, Pinedale, Afton and Kemmerer.

Slow-moving storms are expected to develop over areas that are already saturated from previous rain.

Steeply slopes area, especially around Casper Mountains, could see rock or mud slides.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports (https://bit.ly/1KT4lwC ) that a downpour on Tuesday caused minor flooding along Dead Horse Canyon Creek in downtown Rock Springs. Several businesses reported water damage.
