RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Former President Jimmy Carter is heading to Virginia this weekend for a book signing.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1LTiXhn) reports Carter is scheduled to be in Glen Allen on Saturday to promote his book “A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety.”

Carter has published more than two dozen books. He served as U.S. president from 1977 to 1981.

In 1982, he founded the Carter Center, a nonprofit public policy center in Atlanta that works to resolve conflicts and protect human rights. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
