BOSTON (AP) - State police say a homeless man has drowned in Boston’s Muddy River.

Authorities say troopers responded to reports at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday that a man fell into the river at Charlesgate Park and did not resurface.

A Boston fire department dive team later recovered the body of the 55-year-old man at the bottom of the river. The man’s name has not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
