RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Murrieta will be getting a new Kaiser Permanente medical complex as the health care organization moves forward with construction plans.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports (https://bit.ly/1LWdOVI ) that Kaiser Permanente has signed the $9.3 million land deal, which will be in Mapleton Park Centre. Principle of Lee & Associates, Mike Tingus, says the deal includes a hospital, treatment and diagnostic center, medical office building and central energy plant.

The sellers in the deal are Elliott Kahn Investments and the Goldman Family Properties. Tingus says Kaiser identified the nearly 28-acre land site for the 824,500 square-foot health care complex about a year ago.

The new complex will front Interstate 215 at Keller Road, where a new interchange is expected to be built.
