CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - Police in Cranston have apprehended two suspects in an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Police announced Wednesday they had arrested 20-year-old Jonathon O’Brien of Warwick, and 18-year-old Richard Bueno of Cranston, for an armed robbery Tuesday night at Sam’s Food Store.

Police say O’Brien and Bueno fled the scene on foot with about $150 in cash.

Police believe O’Brien and Bueno are linked to two additional robberies in June at the same store.

Police are investigating whether the two men were involved in other robberies that have occurred in Cranston, Johnston and Providence since April.

O’Brien and Bueno are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. It’s not clear if they have attorneys.
