CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - Several state agencies with offices in Cranston have been impacted by a power outage.

The governor’s office announced Wednesday afternoon that several offices at the Pastore Complex were closed.

The Department of Motor Vehicles in Cranston is closed for the day. DMV offices in other locations are open, and extra staff members are available to support the expected increase in volume.

The Department of Corrections has cancelled all visits with inmates for the rest of the day, and the Department of Labor and Training has cancelled appointments and hearings for unemployment benefits and other related activities.
