SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) - Police in Springfield, Oregon, say they’re looking for a male acquaintance of a 23-year-old woman who was killed early Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Sarah Ann Coleman. Police have declined to say how she was killed.

The Register-Guard reports (https://is.gd/txPCYw ) that officers are also looking for her stolen car, a white 1997 Dodge Intrepid.

Police say a 30-year-old Springfield man is a “person of interest” in the death. Sgt. David Lewis said Tuesday night that the two were acquainted but not in any kind of relationship.

The woman died inside a home. One of her relatives called police to report the death and officers responded shortly before 2 a.m.

Springfield is about 110 miles south of Portland.
