CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Officials say the University of Wyoming student who died in January ingested synthetic LSD before his death.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1HeFLnz ) that 18-year-old Triston Harvey’s Jan. 31 death was ruled an accident. Authorities say Harvey went into cardiopulmonary arrest due to the drugs and a heart condition.

Police responded in January to reports of a man who was not breathing and had no pulse. Officers administered CPR until an ambulance crew took over. He was transported to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Harvey, of Gillette, graduated from Campbell County High School in 2014.
